Another Update

Tue Nov 14, 2006, 6:56 AM
It has been the standard amount of time since I have been here to view other people's works and since I have updated with anything at all. Hopefully I will get the standard couple o' comments and it'll make me feel better about spending a couple o' hours on these works. I have been working at Lexmark for neigh on three months and have been very busy with things of that nature. Sometimes though I will find myself with a little free time at work that I would usually fill with gaming safe for that I have nothing to game on. So, I whip out the drawing book and start trying to emulate things that I see. I grab a manga or two and try to look off the cover and duplicate what I see and what I got is the Ranma image I drew and posted today. The other two updates are of stuff that I have redone.

Sorry I haven't been looking at everyone's hard work over the last 4 1/2 months, they have blocked Deviantart at work and I have been extremely lazy when it comes to wanting to do anything for some odd reason. I mean, I know there are people on Dev art who check regualarly and submit works of art that are just beautiful and intuitive in their own right but, I cannot bring myself to check here as often as I want. **sigh** Hopefully my meager attempts at drawing provide you with some sort of distraction to which to fill the empty hours between awake time and sleep time.

Peace,
R-Tug

PS: For some reason, the Ranma image and Rouge images are not loading in their area in scraps. I have put them there because I don't feel they warrant a deviation submission. Keep looking for them there in the scraps bin. The other drawing is in the main deviant gallery.

Long time

Sun Jul 9, 2006, 10:41 AM
I have been busy working as of late. I hate Wal-Mart with a passion that I have never had for anything I have hated thus far in my short existance on this planet. If there is one thing I cannot stand in the field of forced hourly servitude, it is repition. At lease when I was working at Fazolis for those 4 and a half years I got to do different things about that joint and the people there almost made up for any kind of repitition that I had to do. People working at Wal-Mart are slightly different in that respect. They seem to have lost any kind of will at all, life has drained from their eyes, and I could swear I saw two bite marks on the necks of some employees there from where Zombie-Vampire-Nazi Sam Walton has come back from the grave to drain the life-blood from them. The job in itself is not that hard to do, however there is no and I stress, NO variation to it at all. Same job every night. Every night we have about three or four pallets back in the cooler that we have to downstack and sort based on department. For whatever reason I can't imagine we get some deli department and meat department stuff back there with our things. So, when we waste our first two hours there downstacking and sorting the stuff in our cooler we move on to moving the dairy section in little silver carts out there to the floor to put up on the shelf. Six hours ensue of putting up small cans of biscuts, yogurt, cookies, and cheese. This whole night of working is brought to a screetching hault at around 8:00 with no regard to if we are finished or not. Only to go home get what sleep I can during the day when everyone in my house is being awake and noisey and go back at it less than 11 hours after I left the place. That is assuming that I go to sleep as soon as I get back. Meanwhile, while I am trying to get some sleep at home, Wal-Mart and our good friend daylight have wrought the ravenous horde of Richmond, Kentucky out on the shelves which I so carefully stacked and filled the night before. I guess what I hate about that job is the complete lack of sense of accomplishment. Working as hard as you can leads you no where as the next evening it will be as if you never tried at all.

Something New

Here is something new. Nekojin 2.0.. It was suggested that I colour it and by george I did just that. After spending about two hours outlining the original drawing with my mouse, I used several different shading and colouring techniques to get things the way I wanted them. I hope all four of you guys like it. (Only four peeps look and pay attention to what I do.)

Sleep now,

A long time ago, I did some submissions and left it that way for almost 1.5 years. Here is something along the area of a new submission. Nothing much has gone about in my life recently. Been working, being sick, going to school, and sometimes sitting on my computer playing WoW.
I recently turned 22 years old. and don't feel any different. My room is a mess. Imma gonna take a picture of it one day and submit it as a deviation.

A new day a new dollar as they say. I might be in better shape than I initially thought regarding enrollment at EKU. They haven't been as much of a pain in the ass as I initially thought. Somehow, midway through the semester after I had scrimped and saved for my books this year, I just randomly get a check through the mail for 2000 dollars. This is totally unexpected and welcome, as I have but one job that barely counts as part-time. ; . ; (I have collected about 22 hours or so over the last 4 weeks)

I have partitioned the money up so that it can cover my rent for the next couple of months. (October - February) I am using the rest of the money to help cover expenses that I incurred while staying in Japan. (Yes I am still paying those off) I would like to get it to the point to where I am debt free, but the dream still sits there just beyond my reach. (I will have to wait until next year when the other EKU refunds come a rollin' in.) After said event occurs next year I will be in straight streets. I would only have to worry about paying rent and phone bills. All of which amount to about 160-170 dollars a month depending on if I make any long distance calls or not.

I have been neglecting the updates here on the page (not that any of the few people I know on DA are hinging upon my very word) but when I do update hopefully it will be better than my previous artworks. I might even go back and try to redo some of my old works to make them better! I shudder to think of the stuff nestled in my deviant gallery. Also, I wanna be able to draw like Jenny ; . ; . Her style is something I have always loved. From the animation I used to watch when I was growing up... Kind of seems a mix between Disney and the old Don Bluthe films...

See ya,
