Artist's Comments

Most of you remember the deviation submitted at : [link]
For those who don't go look at it and be frightened. I don't like how it looks, so I redid the image in my notebook. I resketched and outlined the original drawing to have a clearer boundary of the image and colored it in black and white using my pencils I had at my discretion at the time. I think this is much more appealing to the eye. Enjoy.

You're getting there. Try doing a thumbnail of what you want the pose to be before you draw, and that'll help stave off the awkward spaminess that some of the pictures get. Mine had that same problem until I actually started taking the advice of my art teachers. Imagine that!

Oh, and try doing some stuff without clothes on until you can nail the form of the body. Then work on texturing and things like that. I suck at clothes, thus, naked demons and creepy cartoony hands.

...Maybe I should put in some good comments! Like the position of the mouth, still needs some work, but it's getting there. The hair looks nicer, but try doing it in sections instead of a big ol' helmet (again, random art teacher advice), and your ears and eyebrows are looking really good.

And here I thought they were implicit in every conversation ever. My bad.
